This Privacy Policy explains how BuiltforAI, LLC (“we,” “us”) handles information in connection with datacenters.builtfor.ai (the “Site”).

Information we collect

  • Email address — if you subscribe to the brief or sign up, we store the email you provide.
  • On-device data — your watchlist and similar preferences are stored locally in your browser (localStorage) and are not sent to us unless a feature requires it.
  • Payment information — handled entirely by our payment processor (Stripe). We do not receive or store your full card details.
  • Usage & technical data — standard server/CDN logs (e.g., IP address, browser type, pages requested) collected by our hosting provider to operate and secure the Site.

How we use it

  • To deliver the intelligence brief and account features you request.
  • To process subscriptions and payments.
  • To operate, secure, and improve the Site.
  • To respond to your inquiries and data-correction requests.

We do not sell your personal information.

Service providers

We share data only with providers that help us run the Site, under their own terms: Cloudflare (hosting, CDN, storage), Stripe (payments), and email/delivery providers. These providers process data on our behalf.

Cookies & local storage

We use essential local storage for features like your watchlist and signup state. We aim to minimize non-essential tracking. You can clear local storage and cookies in your browser at any time.

Data retention & security

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, and we use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (e.g., under the GDPR or CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your personal data, and to opt out of certain processing. To exercise any right, email hello@builtfor.ai and we will respond as required by law.

Children

The Site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

We may update this policy; we’ll revise the date above and, where appropriate, provide notice.
